Table & Banter

Food is the cornerstone of The Park, and The Connell Company created the on-campus event group, Table & Banter, to facilitate our diverse array of unparalleled food and beverage offerings. The team — Brian Bistrong, Corporate Executive Chef and Culinary Program Director, Ashley Davis, Director of Pastry and Baking, and Louis Bayla, Executive Chef for Grain & Cane Bar & Table, (The Park’s premier restaurant) – are leaders in the hospitality, restaurant, and catering industries. Together, they have spent years working with some of New York City’s most renowned chefs.

New Culinary Concepts

Headed up by these visionaries, Table & Banter is responsible for all things food at The Park. It creates the campus’ newly curated restaurant concepts, handles all indoor and outdoor on-campus restaurants, designs grab-and-go café offerings inspired by the “fast casual” organic food movement, and heads up a commissary kitchen that handles corporate and social catering services for the event spaces and customized tenant meal plans. Table & Banter also has a 1,000 SF Chef’s Test Kitchen designed for tastings, private events, and parties.

Appetite-Whetting Offerings

Among the diverse dining options at Table & Banter is Counter Market, an elevated office dining concept that includes pre-order and easy grab-and-go meals; Grain & Cane Bar & Table, a restaurant offering innovative American cuisine and craft beer, wine, and vibrant cocktails, the Grain and Cane Food Truck, an elevated food hall-style café providing hot and cold breakfast and lunch options; and RT Farm, an RTS members-only restaurant serving healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner options. On the horizon are Blue Rose Taco, a Southern California-style taco stand, a brewery and beer garden with rooftop event space; Foundation Alley Duckpin Social, a duckpin bowling restaurant and bar gaming concept; and The Spot, a 1950s-inspired burger restaurant, located next to The Park’s new interactive dog park.

The Park offers a broad range of inspired venues for every occasion, from an outdoor event at The Grove; to a private dinner in a campus restaurant or training room; to corporate events and weddings in The Glass House solarium at the Embassy Suites Hotel.
